Facilities
The Academic Computing Centers offer several computer-based classrooms as
well as open labs which can be utilized by students on a walk-in basis.
Students may utilize computing services on either campus. The Academic
Computing Centers, Libraries and Residence Halls are networked, making it
possible for students to access their personal files from any networked
location.
Albany
The Academic Computing Center is located on the second floor of Froman
Hall. It includes four PC-based computer classrooms and open lab area. Two
Graphics Labs, located in the Graphic Design Building, house Macintosh
computers and the latest graphics software.
Additional workstations are available in the libraries, for access to
electronic card catalogs and databases, and in the Academic Support Center
and Science Building.
Troy
The Academic Computing Center in the basement of the Education Building
includes two PC computer classrooms and an open lab area. Down the hall,
the Math and Computer Science Division hosts an additional PC-based
classroom/lab.
Additional workstations are located in Ricketts Hall, Science Hall.
Ackerman Hall, Carriage House and other locations to support individual
program needs. The library offers access to electronic catalogs and
databases.
